Our History

The Turf Doctor LLC was established in 1997. Michael A. Russo, the company president, has worked in the professional turf grass industry since 1985. Michael holds a degree from Colorado State University and a Certified Master Applicator’s license from the state of Maine.

Our specialty is in caring for all types of turfgrass. Our programs begin with a valuable client consultation to determine the location's agronomic needs and the budget requirements. Our flexible, tailored programs include custom-blended fertilizers, weed controls, and insect and disease management programs. Additional services may include core aeration, slice seeding, deep-tine aeration and complete sports turf renovations and management programs.

Whether you need a small fertilization program for your home, complete care for your athletic facilities, or complete turf care for your city or town, The Turf Doctor will provide you with professional service at a very competitive price.
